"Hospitality House of Tulsa made our journey easier... We have been able to be stress-free, knowing we can be near our son."

When a child is born, we expect it to be a joyful celebration. No one wants that moment to be the beginning of a desperate, frightening health crisis. But that’s what happened to the Warner family when their son, Jarrod, was born too early. “We spent many days in the hospital NICU with our newborn baby boy,” Mrs. Warner said. “It’s so hard to stay positive when all you feel is stress, fear, anxiety and sadness.”

On top of worrying about Jarrod’s survival, the Warners also had to figure out how to stay close by when they lived 80 miles away. Fortunately, they didn’t have to struggle with that problem for long—because Hospitality House of Tulsa offered them a safe, comfortable place to rest during Jarrod’s NICU stay.

“Hospitality House of Tulsa made our journey easier by providing us with wonderful service and a safe place to stay close to our son,” said Mrs. Warner. “Because of their friendly volunteers, amazing care and kindness, we have been able to be stress-free, knowing we can be near our son—and also have such amazing people to help us in our time of need.”

There are so many people like the Warners, whose children require long days and weeks of intensive care. Every family deserves a warm, welcoming place to find comfort and hope as their baby faces serious healthcare needs.

With Christmas approaching, the birth of Jesus reminds us that the kindness and hospitality of strangers is vital to people in the midst of a medical emergency! Even Jesus’ mother, Mary, found herself in the middle of an unexpected, frightening crisis. Without a reliable shelter, Jesus’ mother experienced the difficulty and fear that our families still face today! But one innkeeper had compassion and made room for Mary and Joseph to safely care for their infant son.

At Hospitality House of Tulsa, we provide a welcoming, peaceful place for families to stay when they’re facing medical emergencies. This year, more people than ever before have come to us for help, and the need is growing daily. With the generous support of friends like you, we can continue to make room for these families to receive nourishing food, a comfortable bed, showers and laundry service, and most of all, prayer and encouraging words as they navigate their healthcare crisis.

Please prayerfully consider a gift to Hospitality House of Tulsa and help us show God’s love in a practical way to those who are facing medical emergencies. Thank you for your generosity, your prayers, and your support as we show God’s love through hospitality.
