The Route 66 Gurney Tourney is an exciting and zany way to engage with co-workers, friends and family. Teams of five will race and raise funds to meet the needs of families traveling to Tulsa in medical crisis Register today to race and raise for families in medical crisis.

Special Announcement: The 2019 Gurney Tourney event theme is "There is no place like home," said in the famous movie The Wizard of Oz.

*Note that seats represents # of team members. Entry for spectators is free.

FAQ

Q. How long is the race course?

A. Approximately 200 yards.

Q. How intense are the obstacles?

A. The obstacles are low impact. Past examples include carrying cookies on a spatula, digging through sand to find food, and pushing a small car tire. As with any physical activity, we ask you to know your limits and consult with your physician if needed.

Q. Is this a tournament?

A. Yes. You will run against 1 other team. All times will be recorded. The top four teams with the best time will race in round two. The top two teams with the best time will then race in the third and final heat to determine the Gurney Tourney Champion.

Q. Is there an age limit to race?

A. Yes. Adults of any age may race and youth age 14 and older are welcome to race with their parent's/guardian's permission.

Q. How does fundraising work?

A. Hospitality House staff comes to you! We offer training, fundraising ideas, a script, and a lot of cheer-leading. We set up an online giving page for your team to share. Car washes, chili cook-offs, and pie in the face for an executive are a few fundraising ideas that are a fun way to get the entire office involved in helping your team out. Team building is at its best when everyone is engaged! Fundraising looks different for every team.

A. Bragging rights of course, your name and photo in the post event press release, and a trophy! Trophies your team could win include:
